WORSHIP

Places of Worship have always been tricky for architects, to represent religious concept in the built form. We had the opportunity to design for different clients ,some remain as proposals and some have been realised.

For one client in a large college campus we proposed to have 4 diffe
t strucures 3 for the main religious untheat area Hindu , christian and islam and one a meditation space. The four structures were tied my a common plaza which represent nil or no religion covered by a tensile structure .

For another client we had a single structure for the different religious having entrance in the direction as per the religions beliefs . we have used the motifs of the religions to distinguish it from a far.

A Hindu temple we tried to represent the temple spine in a cubist vocablary.
